Lehde Christmas Market 2025: Limited tickets and festive highlights!

The Christmas market in Lehde will have a new look from 2025. The organizers, the OSL Museum and the Große Spreewaldhafen Lübbenau, have decided to limit the number of guests on the first two weekends of Advent. This creates a more relaxed atmosphere and more space for all visitors. A maximum of 6,000 tickets will be sold per day of the event, which increases the anticipation for this year's event. Advance sales are particularly recommended to ensure guaranteed entry.

The coveted combination tickets, which are valid for both a boat trip and a museum visit, were completely sold out at the end of October and saw a price increase from 24 euros to 29 euros. However, individual visitors have the opportunity to visit on the opening days on the 29th/30th. November and 6th/7th Tickets are available for purchase in December, albeit in limited numbers.

An experience for the whole family

The Christmas market in Lehde has almost 60 stalls from artisan traders. Here you'll find everything from handmade pottery to cute stuffed animals and even Christmas cookies for dogs. The culinary offering also leaves nothing to be desired: In addition to millet cabbage and bratwurst, visitors can also enjoy delicious Baumkuchen, fresh fish and Spreewald sausages. Drinks include a varied selection of mulled wines, hot mead, mulled gin and non-alcoholic alternatives such as hot apple punch.

A special highlight are the regular performances by the traveling theater Schwalbe, which presents Christmas fairy tales. Straw is also laid out in the open-air museum to create a homely atmosphere - a perfect place to enjoy the run-up to Christmas.

Small but nice: The small Christmas market

In addition to the big Christmas hustle and bustle, a smaller Christmas market is organized at the Großer Spreewaldhafen. Here visitors can expect cozy music, puppeteers and creative walking acts. This is a great way to celebrate the holiday season in a more intimate setting.

Getting to the market is also easy: parking is available at Dammstrasse 58, 71 and 9/10. From there it is only a short walk to the Great Spreewald Harbor. If you arrive by train, you can take the popular Spreewald-Molly shuttle service from the train station or Sagenbrunnen/Marktplatz. The cost of the trip? Moderate at 3.50 euros per person.
