Herzberg celebrates inclusive darts tournament: Score together on November 8th!

On Saturday, November 8th, the first Herzberg dart tournament will take place in the Elbe-Elster district. The aim of this special event is to promote inclusive ideas and sporting cooperation. The tournament is organized by Jana Hermann, who makes a valuable contribution to the integration of people with disabilities with her social enterprise Elsterwerk. Around 50 registrations have already been received, and those who decide at short notice have the opportunity to register on the evening of the event Daily Mirror reported.

The tournament is divided into two groups: an inclusion tournament that brings together ten people with disabilities and local celebrities, including Mayor Karsten Eule-Prütz, and a classic steel dart tournament with up to 64 participants. The tournament director, Björn Rathsack, who works as a sports therapist, will ensure that everything runs smoothly. What is particularly pleasing is that training programs for people with disabilities have been organized over the last six weeks in order to optimally prepare the participants.

Innovative game and generous features

The inclusion tournament is played with e-darts, an electronic variant that focuses on concentration and hand-eye coordination. The focus is not on physical fitness - a great opportunity for all participants, regardless of their background.

Anyone who attends the event can look forward to impressive furnishings: they correspond to those at Alexandra Palace (Ally Pally) in London. Spectators can look forward to free entry, making the event even more accessible. The Elsterwerk group of companies, which runs workshops for people with disabilities, has really shown a good hand here.

An example of cohesion

The Herzberg dart tournament is not just a sporting event, but also a celebration of togetherness and inclusive thinking. Such events are important to break down barriers and promote equal opportunities. Spectators who are interested in the event can look forward to an exciting atmosphere and contribute to a good cause.

At a time when social cohesion is very important, the darts tournament is an important symbol. For everyone who is interested in sport, community and an inclusive experience, November 8th is the day when everything revolves around darts!

Meanwhile, the Vero Beach Blues Festival is also coming up, which will take place from February 28th to March 1st, 2026. An exciting program is also offered here, which shows how important local events are that strengthen the community, whether in sport or music.
