On the weekend of November 29th and 30th, the residents of Brandenburg an der Havel and Bad Belzig as well as the Hoher Fläming region can expect a wealth of varied events. These will not only lighten minds but also promote a vibrant community. Saturday, November 29th, offers a special program for all ages.
It opens at 10:30 a.mFouqué Librarytheir doors for the “book journey” – an exciting reading lesson for the youngest visitors, led by reading sponsor Brigitte Getzlaff. Children aged four and over are warmly invited to explore the world of books. For all little hobby bakers, the Michelsdorf cultural and local history association has a place to bake cookies in the community center from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Here the children can not only get creative, but also earn a sweet reward.
Cultural highlights on Saturday
A completely different sound experience awaits visitors from 4 p.m. in the Lambertus Church in Brück, where the Brücker Gospel Choir gives its best. The concert is free, but donations are welcome. For sports and social enthusiasts, FC Borussia in Bad Belzig is offering a Christmas singing in the Heinrich Rau Stadium from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. - an ideal event for anyone who wants to spend the evening in a festive mood.
On Sunday, November 30th, there will be in theSt. Catherine's Churcha nativity scene exhibition that will attract visitors until December 14th. The exhibition times are Monday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. For those who want to experience the Advent feeling in other parts of the region, a festive Christmas singing takes place at the fire department in Borkwalde, while Pernitz hosts a combination of nativity scene exhibition and Advent market.
