Brandenburg's Gotti brings Italo-Western to Wandlitz-join in now!

Brandenburg/Havel, Deutschland - Martin "Gotti" Gottschild, a true multi -talent from Brandenburg, is currently talking about himself. The comedian, author and musician, who describes himself as a "court fool", specializes in the production of an Italo-Western. Gotti is breaking new ground with his film "Tram - Wash your hands again before dying", which is due to come to cinemas in 2024. While that first part of his homage is on the Italo-Western, he is already planning the sequel "The Party", which is inspired by the Côte d’Azur in Wandlitz and will revive the atmosphere of French Sunday films of the 70s and 80s. As reported * fluxfm *, Gotti describes this second part as a kind of "La Boum with 50-year-olds".

The entire film is shot with an old tram wagon, the "Lindner 30", and Gotti himself will take on the leading role with Berlin dialect. Interestingly, the entire production effort for the West with 60,000 euros is remarkably low compared to the usual sum of 300,000 euros. Financing takes place via crowdfunding, which means that many small supporters can become part of the project. Gotti already has experience with this financing model because he published the "Sandmann for Adults" with new texts two years ago.

crowdfunding as a creative solution

But what is behind crowdfunding and why is it attractive for many filmmakers? * Startnext* explains that the platform has already successfully financed around 1,300 film projects since its foundation in October 2010. The success rate of all projects is a remarkable 61%. Film projects in particular are very popular here because they serve niche interests and often promote unusual content. Gotti also offers its supporters numerous rewards: from 30 euros there is a signed book, and for 666,666 euros even a producer name in the credits.

The special thing about Gottschild's approach is that he does not want to incorporate any explicit violent scenes and no problems with women for his film. This appeals to a broader target group and could bring in additional sympathy points for both critics and the audience. His humorous nature, which he showed in a conversation with Katia Berg and Sascha Schlegel from * Fluxfm *, is constantly part of his work.

an exciting collaboration

For music, Gotti Sven van Thom has committed, who will design the soundtrack. Gotti and his crew are optimistic that you can inspire the audience with this concept. The first film "Tram" is even raffled off, including a booklet, a tram quartet card and a CD with scores and DVD. Interested parties have the opportunity to take part in the raffle.

Martin Gottschild, born on September 24, 1976 in East Berlin, has made a name for itself over the years. Eleven years after his appearance at the Bundesvision Song Contest in 2007, he is part of the comedy duo "Animals caress people" and has established himself as a leading figure in the comedy scene. With a mixture of music, humor and cinema art, Gotti shows that he has a good knack for creative development.

In a time when innovative film projects often encounter financing hurdles, Gottschild with his Italo western and the creative use of crowdfunding sets a strong sign-people are ready to pay for stories that mean something to them. The Italo-Western in Brandenburg could certainly become a topic of conversation and shows that exciting films can also be created in the province.
