We have a special weekend ahead of us - October begins in the Spreewald with a long holiday weekend! The Day of German unity on October 3rd offers plenty of opportunity to enjoy the region to the fullest. Whether you are interested in surprising events or social gatherings, there is something for everyone here!
It starts on Friday, October 3rd, with an exciting oneMedieval festivalat the Slavic castle in Raddusch, which is known for its impressive knight fights and fiery shows. Around 100 participants will bring the atmosphere to life in historical costumes. The festival opens from 3 p.m. on Friday, while visitors are welcomed on the following days from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets are available both on site and online.
Diverse entertainment in the Spreewald
This is what awaits you in CalauCircus Festival, where audiences will be thrilled with breathtaking acrobatic numbers and magical sorcery. The performances take place on Friday and Saturday at 5 p.m. and on Sunday at 11 a.m. and last approximately two hours each. Tickets are also available on site.
Another highlight is theBirds of prey showin Verchow, which begins on October 3rd at 3 p.m. Admire the majestic eagles and eagle owls in impressive flight displays. This is a must for bird lovers - but pay attention as these shows are only available until the end of October!
