In the first test on Friday, the 25-0 win against Wacker Schönwalde, coach Claus-Dieter Wollitz's players immediately showed that they are ready to tackle the coming season. In particular, new signing Jannis Boziaris, who also caused a sensation against SpVgg Finsterwalde two days later, attracted the attention of the spectators. Also worth noting was Justin Butler's remarkable side kick, which remains in the memory. The team also put in an impressive performance in the first half against Finsterwalde, which ended with a halftime score of 11-0. Can Moustfa, Erik Engelhardt, and Tim Campulka contributed significantly to this high result, while Romarjo Hajrulla impressively scored three goals in just four minutes.
The strong performance in Wittichenau
The last of the three test matches took place against DJK Blau-Weiß Wittichenau, which not only attracted numerous well-wishers but also around 1,700 spectators on the occasion of its 100th birthday. In the second half, coach Wollitz changed the entire team, which did not affect the game's dynamic. Goals from Can Moustfa, Ted Tattermusch, Romarjo Hajrulla and Erik Tallig followed, making the final score 8-0.
Romarjo Hajrulla shone as the top scorer in these friendly matches, scoring a total of eight goals.
