Veteran honor: big festival in Strausberg on June 18, 2025!

In Strausberg something is happening: On June 18, 2025, a special event takes place, which is all about the recognition of Bundeswehr veterans. The comradeship of former/reservists/survivors Strausberg in the German Bundeswehr Association e.V. has invited to the National Veteran Day, which will be celebrated in the sports and relaxation park from 2:00 p.m. The reason for this is a Bundestag decision from April 2024, which has decided to introduce an annual memorial day for veterans. This day paves the way for more visibility and appreciation of the veterans and their services.

At the event in Strausberg, visitors can expect an informative program. Information stands, exhibitions, readings and talks offer a good hand to share the stories and experiences of the veterans. The event aims to address not only veterans themselves, but also families and the general public.
