Preparations are in full swing for the 44th Oder Tour, which will take place on July 9, 2025 in Podelzig and Seelow. This exciting event brings not only sporting highlights, but also a number of challenges for local residents. Road closures and diversions are expected in both towns on this day, which will pose some difficulties, especially for drivers. According to Moz.de, diversions from Lebus will be signposted, and temporary closures in town are also being planned.
The queen stage in Podelzig is an exciting and challenging 11.1 km long lap on cobblestones that is tough. The young riders in the U15 and U17 classes start at 10 a.m., followed by the elite female riders from 11:30 a.m. and the elite men at 2:30 p.m. But it's not just the races that are a highlight; A live stream will also be available for everyone who cannot be there, and an evening program with live music from 7 p.m. ensures an atmospheric atmosphere. This all takes place in Podelzig, where spectators are warmly welcomed.
Race track and stages
The prologue begins on July 9th at 4 p.m. in Frankfurt (Oder) and the first stage starts the following day in Güldendorf. Particularly worth mentioning is the third stage, which will take place on July 12th in Eisenhüttenstadt. To ensure that the event runs smoothly, there are various diversions for the route in Podelzig, which lead via the B167, L332 and B112.
The final will take place in Seelow on Sunday, July 13th, covering a 7.2km route. The starts here are as follows: U15/U17 at 9 a.m., the elite women at 10:40 a.m. and the elite men from 1:20 p.m. In Seelow, too, a family program will be offered at the town hall, which will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. A special attraction of the weekend is the handover of the baton for Oderbruch Day 2027, which will also take place on Sunday.
