Advent concerts in Marzahn: Free Christmas magic for everyone!
Winter is approaching, and with it the contemplative time of the year! At the Marzahn-Hellersdorf Tourist Information Center, the Festival of Lights is celebrated with two magical Advent concerts, right in the neighborhood. The events promise a cozy atmosphere in which young and old can feel comfortable.
The first concert, performed by the Big Band of the Einstein-Gymnasium Neuenhagen, begins on Friday, November 28th, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. The band brings rock and pop classics as well as heartwarming Christmas hits to the stage that encourage everyone to sing along and celebrate. A week later, on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., the “Melody Lions” as a quartet will fulfill the musical promise with classic jazz and festive Christmas magic.
Entry and general conditions
The concerts are free, but it is recommended that you register in advance as places are limited. So if you want to be sure to be there, you should secure a place in good time. The hall is barrier-free for people with walking disabilities, and an inductive hearing system is available to enable guests with hearing impairments to participate.
The venue is located at Hellersdorfer Straße 159 in Berlin, and for anyone traveling by public transport, getting there is very easy: the U5 subway line takes you directly to the “Gärten der Welt”, from where it is just a short walk to the tourist information center.
