Maik Horn, a passionate tractor driver from the small village of Kränzlin near Neuruppin, has finally realized his long-held dream of traveling to Mallorca with his self-built tractor. This project has been with him for over 20 years and is now taking concrete shape.
Together with his wife Dani, who supports the adventure in the Wartburg 1.3 multi-purpose vehicle, Horn starts with his tractor, the ZT 323, which has an impressive 210 hp under the hood. The plans call for a distance of over 2,000 kilometers in 15 days. The route first leads to Barcelona before taking the ferry to the popular holiday island of Mallorca. The coming stages
Fortunately, the departure to Pentecost went smoothly. On the way, the group makes a few stops in Möckern, Wölfershausen and Bad Mergentheim. A special highlight will be July 4th: on this day Maik Horn celebrates his 50th birthday in Mallorca, which was the original reason for the trip. Organizers have also decided to reduce entertainment costs by foregoing hotel stays and instead sleeping outdoors. This will certainly be both a challenge and an adventure!
